Heavy fire destroys part of warehouse in Ghidighici, Moldova
A heavy fire broke out at a warehouse in Ghidighici, Chisinau municipality, on Saturday afternoon, destroying 400 square metres of the building and a lorry.
The fire department received a call about the fire at 15:06. Eight fire engines and 62 firefighters and rescuers were dispatched to the scene.
The firefighters were able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to the rest of the warehouse, which contained specialised equipment. However, the fire destroyed 400 square metres of the building and a lorry.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
