Today we mark National Radio Day, which according to a decision approved by the Government, will be celebrated annually on November 1.
The initiative belongs to the "Teleradio-Moldova" Company and represents a restoration of the truth, claims the director general of the institution, Vlad Țurcanu.
Until now, the appearance of radio in the current territory of the Republic of Moldova was linked to the establishment of a Soviet propaganda station in Tiraspol, on the left bank of the Nistru, in 1930. Actually, the first radio signals in Bessarabia sounded with the creation of Romania's national radio, on November 1, 1928, two years earlier.
