In response, the Ministry has issued a recommendation to Tajik citizens, urging them to temporarily refrain from travelling to Russia unless absolutely necessary.

Furthermore, the Ministry has expressed its concerns to the Russian ambassador regarding instances of unjustified entry refusal into Russia. This diplomatic communication underscores Tajikistan's commitment to ensuring the welfare and rights of its citizens abroad.

In the wake of the terrorist attack at Crocus City, migrants from Tajikistan have encountered a surge of xenophobia in Russia. According to official reports, the perpetrators of the attack were Tajik natives. Subsequently, with the accused's nationality becoming public knowledge, the persecution of migrants has intensified in Russia, as reported by novayagazeta.
