# Moldova 1 and Radio Moldova to host debates for local elections

Starting Monday, October 16, public radio and television stations - Radio Moldova and Moldova 1 - will begin electoral debates for the general local elections on November 5.

For the first time in this campaign, debates will be organised for candidates for the mayoral position in eight municipalities: Edineț, Orhei, Soroca, Comrat, Ungheni, Cahul, Bălți, and Chișinău.

The first debate on Radio Moldova will take place on Monday, starting at 5:00 PM, and on Moldova 1 - at 7:00 PM, with candidates for the mayoral position for the municipality of Edineț.

The broadcasts will be live, including on our websites - radiomoldova.md and moldova1.md.

Radio Moldova Tineret will organise electoral debates for candidates for the mayoral positions of the cities of Nisporeni and Glodeni.
