The Border Police in Moldova is advising travellers to consider using alternative border crossings due to heavy traffic at the Sculeni and Leușeni-Albița checkpoints.

*"We are experiencing increased traffic at the Sculeni and Leușeni-Albița border crossings for vehicles exiting Moldova and entering Romania,"* stated a Border Police representative. *"To expedite travel and minimise wait times, we encourage travellers to use other crossing points, such as Leova-Bumbăta (operational from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM), Cahul-Oancea, and Costești-Stânca."* 

The Border Police assures the public that it is taking all necessary measures to manage traffic flow and requests patience and understanding from travellers.
