# On New Year's night, six children were born at the Mother and Child Institute

"On New Year's Eve, six births were registered at the Mother and Child Institute. Five boys and one girl were born. The first birth of 2023 was at 02:24, a baby boy was born. All the children are doing well and will be with their mothers under medical supervision. Last year,  we had only two births on New Year's Eve", said Maxim Cazacu.

We remind that about 5,000 children are born at the Mother and Child Institute every year.
