“Deeply disturbed by Russia's massive air attack on Ukrainian cities today. My thoughts are with all those affected this morning and every day of this brutal war”, wrote the president.

Russia launched its biggest airstrike on Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian military said, with an unprecedented number of drones and missiles fired at targets across the country. As a result, at least 22 people died and over 130 were injured.

The wave of attacks began on Friday night. Explosions were reported in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and others.
