# Farmers can apply for loans of up to 1.6 million lei for working capital, under state guarantee

> From today, March 15, 2024, a new credit instrument for farmers is available. It is about the Working Capital Product, jointly developed with the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship, informs the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA).

With a state guarantee of up to 1 million 600 thousand lei, this financial instrument is designed to support the immediate needs of the agricultural sector.

Interested farmers are encouraged to approach their commercial banks to access the financial instrument.

We remind you that, at the beginning of this month, the instrument was consulted at the ministry, with farmers, ODA representatives, commercial banks, the Ministry of Finance and the State Fiscal Inspectorate.
