Around 60 fighter jets and other warplanes will be involved in the manoeuvres, codenamed Tiger Meet, which will take place in Jagel, Schleswig-Holstein, until June 14th.

This exercise serves the dual purpose of intensifying cooperation with partner nations and fostering the exchange of aeronautical and technical expertise among participating forces, according to a statement from the German army. Each day, the host nation will introduce a progressively more complex fictional scenario to challenge the aircrews and hone their combat skills.

This large-scale joint air combat exercise represents a significant training opportunity for the participating aircrews and underscores NATO's commitment to collective defence.
