# Moldova lowers VAT for hospitality during crisis

The law mandates a reduced VAT rate for hotels, restaurants, and catering services.

Businesses must contact technical support centers to reprogram their cash registers to reflect the 6% VAT rate.

As a reminder, Moldova has declared a 60-day state of emergency. Parliament, with the support of 56 PAS deputies, approved this measure.
