Independent candidate Victoria Sanduta announced the launch of her electoral campaign on Friday, August 29. She is expected to appear 15th on the ballots in the parliamentary elections on September 28, according to the order established by the Central Electoral Commission.

Former judge Victoria Sanduța launched her electoral campaign with a poster published on her Facebook page: *"Victoria Sanduța—Independent candidate. No party. No interests. With principles. A courageous vote = An independent voice."*

Sanduța previously worked at the Chișinău District Court. Still, she was dismissed from her position in September 2024 after the Superior Council of Magistracy rejected her request to be appointed to the role until she reached the mandatory retirement age.

After leaving the judiciary, Sanduța became a vocal critic of the current government. She joined the Coalition for Unity and Welfare in December 2024 but she withdrew from the party just a month later.
