An eagerly anticipated exhibition, much like the arrival of spring, has opened its doors to all creators. It emanates a certain light, perhaps originating from within us. "Why did you choose this composition?" I asked the fine artist, Tudor Zbârnea. He responded, "It felt appropriate to convey this sense of fresh air."

The composition featuring the troița from the village of Butuceni radiates a unique spiritual light.

"I thought this piece would be fitting for the spring exhibition, especially close to the Easter holidays. I titled it 'Spring Sequences' because spring embodies this celebration," explained artist Olesea Enachi.

At the exhibition, Dumitru Bolboceanu captured attention with an autumn-inspired composition dominated by red hues. "Yes, it reflects the red of autumn. The idea came to me while I was working on a series of pieces last fall. I completed it in 2026, during a blizzard, yet I still found myself thinking of that autumn," he shared.

"It represents the Cathedral, a place cherished by all of us. It is a site of spiritual gatherings in the heart of Chisinau, where we stroll and fall more in love with its beauty with each passing season," stated Galina Vieru.

Mihai Țăruș, a fine artist, crafted a three-dimensional piece using metal strips to create a unique visual effect.

*“I started with a plate that had a special texture and thought it would be interesting to combine it in a particular way. I developed this work further and created a bifacial object, which I haven't exhibited yet, but I found it intriguing,”* said Mihai Țăruș.

The exhibition showcases the vitality of the artistic scene and highlights the diversity of genres.

*“The Spring Salon is open to everyone, but, as with any democratic process, there are certain restrictions. The works must adhere to a specific aesthetic standard. An essential criterion for this edition is that the works are small in size, providing a new experience,”* stated Florentina Breazu, the president of the Union of Fine Artists.

Out of 130 submitted works, the jury selected 113, which will be on public display until April 15.
