# Berlin, Paris, and Prague drew the most passengers in April

> Nearly 484,000 passengers travelled on flights operated from Chișinău International Airport in April. The figure marks a 24.6% increase, or 95,600 more passengers, compared with the same period last year.

Nearly 484,000 passengers travelled on flights operated from Chișinău International Airport in April. The figure marks a 24.6% increase, or 95,600 more passengers, compared with the same period last year.

The route to Berlin topped the rankings with more than 8,400 passengers, followed by Paris with over 7,900 travellers and Prague with more than 7,450 passengers.

Barcelona, Larnaca, Verona, and Brussels also recorded strong traffic, each surpassing 6,000 passengers, while Nice, Hurghada, and Baku ranked among the least travelled destinations.

In April, 30,438 passengers flew on new routes, accounting for about 6.3% of total monthly traffic.

Flights to Sofia and Bratislava drew the most passengers, with 6,027 and 5,336 travellers, followed by Wrocław with 3,751, Copenhagen with 3,186, and Naples with 3,200 passengers.

According to Chișinău International Airport, aircraft movements, including landings and takeoffs, reached 3,311 in April, up 7.7% from April 2025.
Cargo traffic totalled 202.6 tonnes.

The airport also reported more than six million passengers throughout 2025.
