"They represent our traces in the search for self-identity. My experiences from the past are not merely nostalgic; they provide valuable lessons that help me think about the future. This perspective allows us to live in the present more intensely. I believe that these traces belong to everyone," declared Tudor Zbârnea.

The exhibition showcases the culmination of Tudor Zbârnea's artistic career.

*"One of our legends: his remarkable presence, extraordinary allure, and life story are all part of our national heritage,"* stated Cristian Jardan, the Minister of Culture.

Visitors have the opportunity to view works created by Tudor Zbârnea spanning from the 1990s to 2026.

*"An artist shaped by our cultural environment, yet heavily influenced by Romanian traditions, Tudor Zbârnea presents a collection of paintings that reflect a mature visual expression,"* highlighted Florina Breazu, president of the Union of Plastic Artists of the Republic of Moldova.

Alexandru Macovei, a fellow artist, describes him as *"an exceptional painter—naïve yet archaic, and simultaneously extraordinarily modern in every aspect."*

From many of the works, faces emerge, beckoning from afar.

*"These faces uniquely represent a remarkable painter who possesses a profound sensitivity to tradition. At the same time, I believe he has envisioned nearly everything that is possible within European painting,"* remarked writer Emilian Galaicu-Păun.

Poet Ion Hadârcă said, *"This fascinating exhibition leaves enduring 'traces.' Tudor Zbârnea is a multifaceted creator—an author, painter, director, and set designer—narrating the film of our existential dreams."*

Tudor Zbârnea’s nephew, Paul, who often visits the artist’s studio, said *“He works slowly yet beautifully, layering his art. I see him as a great and beautiful artist, and I am proud that he has created this exhibition.”*

The personal exhibition of master Tudor Zbârnea is currently on display at the “Constantin Brâncuşi” Gallery until June 10.
