Lithuanian authorities deployed military personnel alongside police to safeguard key national facilities. Protected sites include the Klaipėda LNG terminal, the Būtingė oil terminal, and the LitPol power link.

**Poland steps up monitoring of key supply lines**

In Poland, energy major Orlen is assessing alternative gas import routes in the event of primary pipeline disruptions. Security has also increased around the Świnoujście LNG terminal and the Baltic Pipe pipeline.

Additionally, Polish military units and grid operators have reinforced physical protections along power transmission lines extending into Ukraine. Regional analysts note Moscow seeks to create widespread instability to offset stalled conventional momentum.
