# Nine ambassadors presented accreditation letters to Maia Sandu, four from EU states

> On September 7, President Maia Sandu received the letters of accreditation from nine newly appointed ambassadors to the Republic of Moldova. Among them, four represent European Union member states: Austria, Estonia, Lithuania, and the Netherlands. This marks the first time that both Estonia and Norway will have ambassadors residing in Chisinau.

On September 7, President Maia Sandu received the letters of accreditation from nine newly appointed ambassadors to the Republic of Moldova. Among them, four represent European Union member states: Austria, Estonia, Lithuania, and the Netherlands. This marks the first time that both Estonia and Norway will have ambassadors residing in Chisinau.

Martina Hermann, the Ambassador of Austria; Siiri Königsberg, the Ambassador of Estonia; Mindaugas Kačerauskis, the Ambassador of Lithuania; and Esselien Hermien Theresia Van Eerten, the Ambassador of the Netherlands, have presented their letters of accreditation to the Presidency.

All four ambassadors, representing European Union member states, will be residing in Chisinau.

On behalf of Norway, a member state of the European Economic Area, Anne Kjersti Amundsen, the ambassador residing in Chisinau, presented the letters of accreditation.

Also, Montenegro, a candidate country for European Union accession, will be represented by Danilo Brajović, who resides in Bucharest.

This marks the first time both Estonia and Norway have been represented in Chisinau by ambassadors since their diplomatic offices were elevated to the rank of embassies.

**New diplomatic representatives from Cuba, Ghana, and Panama**

Letters of accreditation were presented by Alexander Valentín Rodríguez Salazar, Ambassador of Cuba, based in Bucharest; Koma Steem Jehu-Appia, Ambassador of Ghana, based in Moscow; and Jorge Ricardo Silén Santacoloma, Ambassador of Panama, based in Warsaw.
