# Increased security at three Ukrainian customs posts

> Joint Moldovan-Ukrainian control has been established at three customs posts, where Customs Service and Border Police personnel conduct control activities on Ukrainian territory. The customs posts involved are Giurgiulesti – Reni, Briceni – Rossoșani, and Criva – Mămăliga.

Joint Moldovan-Ukrainian control has been established at three customs posts, where Customs Service and Border Police personnel conduct control activities on Ukrainian territory. The customs posts involved are Giurgiulesti – Reni, Briceni – Rossoșani, and Criva – Mămăliga.

Starting September 12 at 08:00, the organization of control activities at three posts will be temporarily adjusted for a period of 90 days, according to the Customs Service.

This measure will not affect the posts' operations or the cross-border movement of people and vehicles. Control processes will continue, with the only change being the location where personnel from the control authorities of the Republic of Moldova will temporarily conduct their activities.

For security reasons, these personnel will return to national territory and carry out their duties using the existing infrastructure in the Republic of Moldova.

These measures are temporary and preventive, implemented in response to security risks posed by air attacks from the Russian Federation on infrastructure in Ukraine, particularly near the border with the Republic of Moldova.
