# Drone fragments found in Ștefan Vodă; Border Police secured the area

> Fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle were discovered on the evening of September 26 outside the village of Volintiri, in the Ștefan Vodă district. Local residents notified the Border Police, and at approximately 20:25, law enforcement officers found the wreckage on the ground and immediately secured the perimeter.

Fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle were discovered on the evening of September 26 outside the village of Volintiri, in the Ștefan Vodă district. Local residents notified the Border Police, and at approximately 20:25, law enforcement officers found the wreckage on the ground and immediately secured the perimeter.

Authorities are investigating how the aircraft reached the area and are maintaining contact with the relevant Ukrainian authorities. The Border Police state that they are monitoring the situation in coordination with other responsible agencies.

Citizens are urged not to approach or touch any potential wreckage from aircraft, munitions, or other unidentified objects, and to notify the 112 emergency service immediately.

We remind you that on the morning of September 26, the National Army announced the detection of an unauthorised flight within the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, amidst Russian attacks on Ukraine.

According to National Army data, the object entered Moldovan airspace at 11:16 from the direction of Stepanivka in the Odesa region and crossed national territory toward the Transnistrian segment. At 11:18, it exited the country's airspace, heading back toward the Odesa region.
