According to the official, this visit demonstrates Romania's support for the Republic of Moldova in the process of accession to the European Union.

In the coming days, two other committees of the Romanian Senate are expected in Chisinau: the European Integration Committee and the Committee on Parliamentary Control over the Romanian Intelligence Service.
