Ana Revenco: The level of threats is increasing in the Republic of Moldova, including with the support of fugitive oligarchs
In the Republic of Moldova, the level of threats is increasing, and the provocation of violence would be a turning point in the current situation. The statement was made by the Interior Minister Ana Revenco, in an interview for Ziarul de Gardă.
According to her, the Russian Federation is now using several levers by which it tries to destabilize the situation in our country. "In 2023 we see that the level of threats increases, not without the support of the fugitive oligarchs. The information is also transmitted through the Interpol database. Today there are several people in state custody and the information indicates a high degree of certainty regarding their connection with foreign interest groups, in this case from the Russian Federation. Provoking violence, as they knew how to do in many countries in the region, would be a turning point in the current situation, and Russian propaganda in the future has only one solution - in Moscow", declared the Minister of Internal Affairs.
We remind that recently the Republic of Moldova is facing a series of challenges specific to a hybrid war and attempts to destabilize the internal situation, according to the Chisinau authorities.
