Hundreds of students from the village of Slobozia Mare will benefit from better educational conditions
About 400 students from the "Mihai Eminescu" Lyceum in the village of Slobozia Mare, Cahul district, will benefit from better educational conditions, in the context in which the institution has benefited from almost 5 million lei, within the "European Village" program, to be repaired.
The mayor of the locality, Valentina Carastan, claims that the investments made in energy efficiency are important for the quality of education.
"The roof was completely changed, the thermal insulation of the facade, which was an urgent necessity, because a lot of energy and heat was being spent. And inside we repair the floors, 1 700 m² of floors. So it is a very beneficial project for the locality. The quality of a society depends on the quality of education", declared the mayor.
We remind that the "European Village" program includes 496 projects, with a total value of approximately 2 billion lei.
