"In the area of the city of Zaporozhye, a high-precision missile destroyed a warehouse with 70,000 tons of fuel used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas," according to the military bulletin presented by the Russians, EFE and Agerpres report.

According to Kiev, a 50-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter were killed during the Russian attack on Zaporizhia, where the region of the same name is home to Europe's largest nuclear power plant.

Rescuers pulled the 46-year-old mother alive from under the rubble, who is seriously injured.

Russian troops control part of the Zaporozhye region (southern Ukraine), including the nuclear power plant, but not the region's capital.
