The energy crisis, the propaganda, but also the protests in the country, are part of the hybrid war waged by the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova, President Maia Sandu said in an interview for CNN. The Head of State claims that the authorities of the Republic of Moldova are identifying solutions to help citizens overcome this winter.
"No matter how difficult it is for us, we have to find solutions. We get help from our international development partners. We are helped through the support platform for the Republic of Moldova. I am in the United States of America to ask for more financial support to help the citizens of the Republic of Moldova overcome this difficult winter. We buy natural gas from the international market, at a very high price. And I'll give you an example: the price of natural gas has increased 7 times, in the last 12 months, and the electricity tariff 4 times, the same in the last year", said Maia Sandu.
