The country's leadership sent congratulatory messages on the occasion of the Easter holidays
The head of state, Maia Sandu, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Easter holidays. In a video message, published online, the president wished everyone to welcome this holiday with faith.
"Our forefathers kept alive the traditions of our nation as a lasting bond between the people of this land. Now it is our turn to carry on the legacy that binds us. This is our strength - the things that unite us and make us better to each other. Christ is risen!" said Maia Sandu.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean also sent good wishes on the occasion of the Resurrection.
"With messages of congratulations May the Easter holidays find you with all your loved ones, in peace and happiness! May we all have a blessed and peaceful Easter! Christ is Risen!" the Prime Minister wrote on social media.
The President of Parliament wished citizens to welcome the Light of Resurrection and Easter with souls full of love, hope and faith.
