ENTSO-E: Electricity trade capacity from Continental Europe to Moldova and Ukraine to increase
Continental European Transmission System Operators have agreed to increase electricity trade capacity from Continental Europe to the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine by 200 MW to 1,050 MW, according to a release from the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity, ENTSO-E.

The source notes that this increase will be applicable as soon as the interconnection between Ukraine/Moldova and Continental Europe is strengthened in May 2023.
The Republic of Moldova and Ukraine synchronised their power systems with the continental one (ENTSO-E) in February 2022, and the capacity available for trading between the two power systems increased to 850MW maximum export capacity to the EU and 400 MW maximum import capacity at any given time.
