The authorities and NGOs from Chisinau do not have access to the Transnistrian region for actions to promote human rights

The authorities from Chisinau, but also non-governmental organisations, do not have access to the Transnistrian region to carry out actions to promote and defend human rights, declared during the program "Paralela 47" from Radio Moldova the adviser for strategic development of the "Promo Lex" Association, Alexandru Postică. But, according to him, there are other monitoring mechanisms, which do not involve physical presence in the Transnistrian region.

"One of the best pieces of evidence is direct contact with victims of human rights violations. Another resource would be publicly available information. Here we have in mind both the information presented by the so-called authorities from the Transnistrian region. Obviously, it is a dose of falsification and manipulation, but this allows us to look for other information, including the so-called legislative acts, decisions made by the courts and institutions of the Transnistrian region, which we corroborate with other information, including the information that we can acquire from social networks", said Alexandru Postică.

TRM.MD recalls that today is International Human Rights Day.
