Foreign ministers from EU member states meet in Luxembourg. The situation in our country on the agenda
Developments regarding European Union support for the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will be among the topics to be discussed on Monday 24 April in Luxembourg at the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the European Union Member States - Foreign Affairs Council, which will be attended by the head of the Romanian diplomacy, Bogdan Aurescu.
Foreign ministers will hold in-depth talks on Russia's aggression against Ukraine, with Ukrainian diplomatic chief Dmytro Kuleba taking part by video conference.
EU support for Moldova will also be discussed and a number of important decisions will be taken to this end.
According to a press release issued by the Foreign Ministry in Bucharest, Bogdan Aurescu will discuss the political agreement on the creation of a sanctions regime to counter destabilising actions against the Republic of Moldova and its constitutional order, as well as the adoption of the decision on the creation of the EU Civilian Partnership Mission in the Republic of Moldova.
European diplomats will also discuss the situation in Iran, Sudan and China's position on Russia's war against Ukraine.
