Meeting at the MFAEI: European course and progress in the implementation of the European Commission recommendations, discussed by Nicu Popescu and Dirk Schubel

The European course of our country and the progress made in the implementation of the nine recommendations of the European Commission were the topics discussed during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI).

The event was attended by Minister Nicu Popescu, the European External Action Service's Special Envoy for the Eastern Partnership, Dirk Schubel, as well as 22 ambassadors of EU Member States responsible for the Eastern Partnership.

The Moldovan head of diplomacy underlined the authorities' firm commitment to continue implementing the reform agenda in order to launch EU accession negotiations in the near future.

In this regard, those present discussed ways of using the instruments of the SAP to support Moldova's European course.
