Nicu Popescu discussed with his Portuguese counterpart the progress made by the authorities in implementing the recommendations of the European Commission
The accession process of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union and the progress made by the authorities in implementing the recommendations of the European Commission were the topics discussed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicu Popescu and the Secretary of State for European Affairs of Portugal, Tiago Antunes.
The officials referred to the ways in which our country can be further supported, both in terms of reforms and on the path of joining the community block.
Also, bilateral cooperation was also discussed, regarding the opportunities to strengthen political, economic, commercial and cultural relations between the Republic of Moldova and Portugal. We remind that the meeting between the two officials took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chisinau.
