Poland reinforces border with Russian enclave Kaliningrad with ‘security perimeter’
Poland is installing a barrier at the border with the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad and a “security perimeter”, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced during a visit to Bartoszyce, 60 kilometers from the enclave, reports Euronews, according to News.ro.
“We are implementing adequate protection measures along the entire border sheet – physical and electronic,” announced Mateusz Morawiecki on Saturday.
“It is what is called the perimeter. We are developing this perimeter,” he emphasized.
“We will also strengthen the presence of border guards, of all services. This presence has already been consolidated, but we will continue this process”, he announced.
