The head of the Cabinet of Ministers said at a press conference that work is currently underway.
"Energocom and members of the Government have been to Romania, they have been to Greece to explore all possibilities to purchase gas at lower prices. Respectively, this should lead to lower tariffs. You have my promise that in the new season we will enter with lower tariffs", said Dorin Recean.
Last week, Moldovagaz director Vadim Ceban told our radio station that the company has examined the opportunity to review the regulated prices for natural gas supply and does not see any prerequisites for reducing the tariff. The Moldovagaz head said that the situation will be clearer in October this year.
