Over 300 police officers will be trained in a security exercise in the context of the European Political Community Summit
Today starting at 09:00, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) together with the national security authorities will carry out a training exercise for police patrols on practicing security strategies during the movement of foreign delegations, in the context of the European Political Community Summit from June 1.
The police crews will carry out the exercise on the main streets in the Centru and Botanica sectors of Chisinau. The simulation action, which will involve more than 300 police officers, aims to test the way of managing such a large-scale event, which is a first in the Republic of Moldova, to increase the security of officials who will visit our country and to ensure the safety of road traffic in Chisinau.
