A group of deputies is visiting Iasi

A group of Moldovan deputies is, today and tomorrow, in Iași, where they are participating in a joint meeting with the members of the Committee for Transport and Infrastructure of the Romanian Senate.

Among the topics addressed is the development of the partnership between the Republic of Moldova and Romania in areas of common interest, such as economy, infrastructure, transport, agriculture or tourism.

In this context, the officials emphasized the need to boost inter-parliamentary relations, especially on the platform of the relevant commissions.

"At the end of the joint meeting, a resolution will be signed reconfirming Romania's commitment to support the Republic of Moldova in the European integration process," the Legislative announces.

Also, the delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova will have meetings with the representatives of the Iași Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Iași City Hall and the Iași County Council.
