Volodymyr Zelenskiy will give a speech today in The Hague

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to speak in The Hague today, the Dutch government announced, reports Hotnews.ro.

In an invitation, the Dutch Foreign Ministry said Zelenskiy would deliver a speech titled "There is no peace without justice for Ukraine."

A surprise visit to the Netherlands would be a first for Zelenskiy, who has made few trips abroad since Russia's February 2022 invasion. It should be noted that Zelenski was in Helsinki, Finland on Wednesday.

Speaking at a news conference in Finland, which is NATO's newest member, Zelenski said one of the reasons he traveled to Helsinki was that his country wanted to become a full member of the military alliance.

He said that Ukraine would launch a counteroffensive against Russian forces soon and that he was sure the West would later supply Kiev with modern warplanes.
