Moldovan athlete Marin Robu ranked 4th at the World Weightlifting Championships
The Moldovan weightlifter, Marin Robu, placed 4th in the general ranking of the 81 kg category at the World Weightlifting Championships, a competition held in the Colombian city of Bogota, between September 5-16.
The athlete from Nisporeni recorded the result of 161 kg, respectively he collected 351 kg in total. Chinese Li Dayin became world champion in the 81 kg weight category with a total of 372 kg. The silver medal went to Rejepbai Rejepov from Tajikistan with the result of 366 kg, and the podium was completed by the South Korean KIM Woo Jae with the result of 357 kg in the sum of the two exercises.
