Maia Sandu at the coronation of King Charles, together with the presidents of Germany and Austria
Moldovan President Maia Sandu, who is attending the coronation of King Charles with Queen Consort Camilla today, posted a photo on social media with the presidents of Germany and Austria.
King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla have arrived at Westminster Abbey for the coronation ceremony.
They took their seats in front of the abbey's high altar. It's a place known as the Coronation Theatre, which gives the impression that this is the focal point of the ceremony and tradition we are about to witness, explains the BBC.
At 2pm, the King and Queen will appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, where they will greet the crowd.
Nearly 4,000 members of the British Armed Forces have been mobilised for the event billed by the UK Ministry of Defence as "the biggest military ceremonial operation in a generation".
