IGP urges participants in Sunday's protest to respect the law and the indications of law enforcement agencies
Police are urging people planning to take part in Sunday's protest to respect the law, public order and the legitimate demands of the organisers. Citizens are also urged to refrain from actions that may hinder the meeting and from inciting such actions.
In this context, the Inspectorate General of Police (IGP) announces that it will be on duty for the safety of citizens, to ensure public order and security, road traffic and the smooth running of the event.
Law enforcement officials reiterated that the organizers bear responsibility for the illegal actions of the participants in the action.
The People's Movement is organising a rally in front of the Parliament to express its dissatisfaction with the current leadership of the Republic of Moldova. Previously, the authorities have stated that the aim of these actions is to overthrow the constitutional order, change the legitimate power in Chisinau and stop the process of European integration.
