The 25th edition of the International Book Fair for Children and Youth has ended: What prizes were awarded

The 25th edition of the International Book Fair for Children and Youth in Chisinau ended today. The event was appreciated by the participants and the public for the diversity of the events and for the fact that the organizers paid special attention to quality books.

The Romanian Culture Institute in Chisinau, co-organizer of the Salon, awarded the three most important prizes.

Thus, the "Ion Creangă" prize was awarded to the writer Iulian Filip for his entire activity in the field of children's literature. The "Igor Vieru" award was given to fine artist Alexei Colâbneac for his work in book illustration for children, and the "Grigore Vieru" award went to the poet Irina Nechit.

The jury of the International Book Fair for Children and Youth awarded the prize for the best book to the writer Maria Pilchin, for the prose book "Doggy".

The Book Fair took place between May 4-7.
