European Town will soon be inaugurated in Chisinau: What awaits the visitors

This year, the European Town will be inaugurated on May 13 and will offer visitors, in the Great National Assembly Square, cultural and interactive activities for all ages and preferences.

According to the Delegation of the European Union in Chisinau, Alley Team Europe will host stands of the embassies of the member states of the European Union. They will present their culture, traditions, as well as traditional European gastronomy. The event will end in an exceptional concert performed by Zdob and Zdub, Satoshi and Ethno Republic.

Also, people are invited to spend the evening in the Grand National Assembly Square, to watch the final of the "Eurovision Song Contest - 2023". This year, the Republic of Moldova is represented at the prestigious contest by Pasha Parfeni with the song "Sun and Moon".

Protests continue in Romania as thousands of young people oppose the candidacy of Călin Georgescu, who is advancing to the second round of the presidential elections

They are reacting to Georgescu’s success in the first round of the elections. Georgescu, an independent candidate, is known for his anti-Western views and pro-Putin sympathies, drawing concerns about his "legionary" connections.
