The President of the Vienna Parliament comes to Moldova
The President of the Austrian Parliament, Wolfgang Sobotka, will pay an official visit to Chisinau on 16 May. According to a press release from the legislature, the Austrian speaker will hold meetings with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, and Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Deputy Prime Ministers Nicu Popescu and Vladimir Bolea, as well as other officials.
During the visit, the opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the two countries, the security situation in the region and our country's European course will be discussed.
The Austrian official's visit is the first to the Republic of Moldova in the 31 years since the establishment of Moldovan-Austrian diplomatic relations.
