President Maia Sandu will participate, between May 16-17, in the fourth Council of Europe (CoE) Summit of Heads of State and Government, which will take place in Reykjavik, Iceland.

According to a press release from the Presidency, the head of state will have several bilateral meetings with heads of state and government to advance the European agenda of the Republic of Moldova.

The previous summit took place in Warsaw in May 2005, when the leaders of the 46 member states redefined the organization's priorities for the coming years.
