"For years, Russia has been blackmailing the Republic of Moldova with gas supplies. For years, Russia has been threatening the Republic of Moldova. For years, Russia has been making efforts to keep the Republic of Moldova poor, easily controllable, and corrupt. For years, Russia has been attacking other CIS members as well. Russia attacked Ukraine and attacked Georgia, causing the two states to leave the CIS.

On the other hand, never in the history of the European Union has it happened that a member state attacked another member state. In the EU, peace is guaranteed. In the CIS, Russian aggression is a high probability. That is why the Russian Federation must be isolated as much as possible internationally, especially in the current context," wrote Siegfried Mureșan on Facebook.

We mention that the Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu announced today that the Republic of Moldova is withdrawing from the Agreement on the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. According to him, this is the first step, after which all the agreements signed by the Republic of Moldova within the CIS will be gradually evaluated.

Several Russian officials reacted to the intention of the Republic of Moldova and categorized it as "a political game".
