Energy Minister Victor Parlicov announces when natural gas tariffs may be changed
The natural gas tariff will most likely be changed in the autumn, Energy Minister Victor Parlicov announced on RLive. According to Victor Parlicov it could be between 10 and 20 lei.
Recently, Energocom announced that it still has about 150 million cubic meters of natural gas in stock out of the total 600 million purchased in 2022 for the cold period of the year. The remaining gas in stock constitutes about 10 percent of the resources consumed during the cold period of the year.
Currently, the tariff for natural gas is 29 lei and 27 bani per cubic metre. At the same time, since November 2022, depending on energy vulnerability, consumers have paid different tariffs during the cold period of the year, as a result of compensation granted by the Government.
