Moldova's cooperation with the Netherlands discussed by President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Mark Rutte
The head of state met on Wednesday with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, on the sidelines of the Council of Europe Summit in Reykjavik, Iceland, informs the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova.
"I had a very good dialogue with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, this morning in Reykjavik, where the fourth summit of the Council of Europe is taking place. I appreciated the increasingly close ties with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, especially with the opening of the embassy in Chisinau last month", said the head of state.
She added that "the support we are receiving to build a strong state that works for its citizens and to speed up the EU accession process is very valuable". President Maia Sandu thanked Prime Minister Rutte for his country's openness towards us and stressed that the Republic of Moldova was counting on intensifying economic cooperation and attracting new investment from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
