Termoelectrica: Tenants of 200 thousand apartments in the municipality of Chisinau benefited from compensations from the state budget for heating

In the 2022-2023 heating season, the tenants of 200 thousand apartments benefited monthly from compensations from the state budget for the payment of energy bills from the energy vulnerability reduction fund, in the amount of 808 million lei. The announcement was made by Termoelectrica.

In March, most of the compensation was allocated, amounting to 223 million lei, which represents a compensation of 47% of the payments on the bills issued for the consumption of thermal energy.

Most of Termoelectrica's consumers were placed in the category of very high vulnerability, which means that 103 thousand consumers paid for thermal energy a tariff of 1,450 lei for one gigacalorie.

Termoelectrica states that in the 2021-2022 heating season, consumers benefited from state compensation, worth 524 million lei.

We remind that Termoelectrica produces and delivers thermal energy only for the municipality of Chisinau.
