US Ambassador to Chisinau will be present in PMAN on Sunday: We hope to see many people who will support the European aspirations of the Republic of Moldova

The US Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Kent D. Logsdon, announced that on Sunday, May 21, he will be present at the "European Moldova" Assembly, to support the European integration process of our country. The statements were made during a visit to Balti, on the occasion of the America’s Day.

"As you know, we are strong supporters of the integration process of the Republic of Moldova in the EU, of the European vector of the Republic of Moldova. The USA is interested in people coming out of their homes and supporting the Republic of Moldova's interest in Europe, so that the country moves towards the EU. Many projects that we see today are part of our aid to the Republic of Moldova, but also to help this country on its way to the EU. I'm proud to be there, to represent the USA at this event. We hope that we will see more people who will support the European aspirations of the Republic of Moldova", declared the ambassador.

The official also mentioned that our country is facing multiple crises due to the war in Ukraine, but assured that the USA will remain a faithful partner of the Republic of Moldova on its European path.

We mention that the "European Moldova" National Assembly will take place on Sunday, May 21, starting at 10:00. President Maia Sandu will address the participants. The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, will also participate in the event, who will give a speech in the Great National Assembly Square.

The assembly will end with the adoption by the participants of the "European Moldova" Resolution.
