Siegfried Mureșan: We must convey the confirmation that Moldova wants European values
Romanian MEP Siegfried Mureșan is participating in the event at the Great National Assembly Square and has come directly from Washington to stand with the citizens of the Republic of Moldova on this day. It is important to send a clear signal that we are united and desire a country modernised according to European standards, the official stated in an exclusive radio interview.
"I have been glad to see in recent weeks that people are preparing. They are coming from all corners of the country, from cities as well as villages, and this is a very good thing. I hope that this gathering we are attending will be seen by as many people as possible, both inside and outside the Republic of Moldova, in order to once again confirm that Moldova wants European values, wants European rules. I am confident that there will be many people and, above all, it will be a beautiful event," stated the MEP.
