Roberta Metsola and Ursula von der Leyen confirmed their participation in the CPE Summit and sent messages of support
The Head of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen, and the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, sent video messages in support of our country, noting that the European Union stands by the Republic of Moldova. The messages were sent as part of the "Moldova is not alone" campaign, in which world leaders communicate about the fact that they are coming to our country.
"The European Union stands by the Republic of Moldova. We support your energy security, your economic stability. We support your reforms on the way to the European family. The Republic of Moldova is not alone. The European Union is with you", declared Ursula von der Leyen.

Previously, with a similar message came the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, who also confirmed his presence at the Summit on June 1, which will be held in Bulboaca, Anenii Noi.
We mention that, according to the spokesperson of the Government, Daniel Vodă, 46 out of 47 European leaders have announced their presence at the Summit of the European Political Community.
We remind you that on June 1, the Republic of Moldova will host the Summit of the European Political Community. 50 officials, heads of state and government are expected. Peace, security, economic resilience, as well as actions in the field of climate and interconnections in Europe are the main topics that will be addressed during the meeting, previously announced the president Maia Sandu.
