Vasile Grădinaru about the resolution adopted in the Gagauz autonomy: It is a coordinated political action, which aims to make some more challenges

The Congress of Deputies and Authorities of all levels of the Gagauz autonomy adopted today a resolution demanding representative quotas of the autonomy in the Parliament, Government, judicial and legal bodies, respecting the principle of proportionality according to the number of inhabitants. In reaction, the member of the legal committee appointments and immunities of the Parliament, Vasile Grădinaru, told Radio Moldova that the legislation of the Republic of Moldova clearly regulates the way of representation in all state institutions, which were established directly proportionally following the votes of the citizens.

"Citizens of Gagauzia must make use of the ability to read and to follow the legislation exactly. In the situation where they come with requests to the Parliament, to the Government, to the president, in order to violate the legislation, they will of course not be accepted. Our activity is strictly based on the Constitution and the law. It is a political action coordinated with the FSB and the citizen of Israel and aims to make some more provocations, to thwart our momentum to join the European Union. We are going towards the EU and we will get there, even if some citizens try to impose certain obstacles", declared Vasile Grădinaru.

We mention that the resolution stipulates, among other things, that the Chisinau authorities stop obstructing Comrat in exercising the powers provided for by the Constitution and the Law on the status of Gagauzia. At the same time, they request that the acts voted at the local level are no longer subject to the control of the State Chancellery.

We remind you that the second round of the elections for the position of Bascan of Gagauzia was won by the candidate of the "Sor" Party, Evghenia Guțul, despite the fact that several violations were detected, according to the Central Electoral Commission. Also, CNA officers and anti-corruption prosecutors conducted searches at the Electoral Body in Comrat. According to the law enforcement officers, there are reasonable suspicions regarding the inclusion in the voter lists of deceased persons, as well as those who are outside the country and voting on their behalf.
