President of Cyprus sent a message before the CPE Summit: What the official will discuss with Maia Sandu

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, has announced that he will attend the Summit of the European Political Community on June 1. The official mentioned that he wants to meet with President Maia Sandu to reiterate his country's support in the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova.

"I look forward to attending the European Political Community Summit in Chisinau on June 1 to discuss the issues affecting our common home - Europe. I also wish to meet soon with President Maia Sandu and, in this meeting, to reiterate Cyprus's respect for Moldova's territorial integrity, but also our support in Moldova's European integration efforts. Moldova is not alone", said the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides.

Recently, the president of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, as well as the prime minister of Ireland, Leo Varadkar, announced that they will participate in the Summit of the European Political Community (EPC), where they will discuss strategic cooperation on the European continent, but also about other topics of crucial importance.

Other officials who have confirmed their presence at the event are the prime ministers of Denmark, Estonia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, sending the message that "the Republic of Moldova is not alone".

Previously, the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, the Head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, came with similar messages.
